Honor Band
The Seventeenth Annual Virginia Tech Honor Band will be held from January 24-26, 2014, in Blacksburg, Virginia. More than 500 students from 170 schools in seven states attend the event each year. Participants are nominated by their band director and spend the weekend in rehearsals, clinics, and performances on the Virginia Tech campus. The final concert at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2014, will be one of the first public events in the new Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech! The concert is free and open to the public. Nominations will be accepted through this site from October 1, 2013, through 11:59 p.m., November 1, 2013.
