Athletic Bands Search Update
The Department of Music at Virginia Tech is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Marinello as its new Assistant Director of Athletic Bands. Mr. Marinello received his Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education from Louisiana State University. Mr. Marinello has previously taught in the public schools of Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas. In the summer of 2008, Mr. Marinello participated in the NBA?s International Conductors Symposium in Rome, Italy, where he worked with La Banda dell?Esercito (Italian Army Band) and Maestro Fulvio Creux.
