Department of Music Announces New Director of Choral Activities
The Department of Music at Virginia Tech is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dwight Bigler as its new Director of Choral Activities. Dr. Bigler received his Doctor of Musical Arts in choral conducting from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his Master of Music in choral conducting and Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Brigham Young University. Originally from Blackfoot, Idaho, Dr. Bigler comes to Blacksburg, Virginia from San Antonio, Texas, where he was Director of Choral Activities at Trinity University.
