Music-Choral Conductor Job Description

The Virginia Tech Department of Music seeks an experienced Choral Conductor for a full-time, one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. The primary responsibilities will be to conduct the choral ensembles at Virginia Tech,to be a visible student recruiter for the Department of Music and to support the vocal programs of the department. An advanced degree in music together with demonstrated success in choral conducting at the college level is required. An earned doctorate or professional equivalent is preferred.
