Music Faculty Showcase Talents in Faculty Gala Performance
BLACKSBURG, VA, August 26, 2005 ? Virginia Tech?s Department of Music faculty will showcase their performance and composition talents in an annual Gala Performance on Tuesday, August 30 in Squires Recital Salon at 2 p.m. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
The afternoon?s program features over twelve faculty members and guests from across the university in a diverse program including both contemporary and classical works, including a work by Vivaldi, as well as a piece by Virginia Tech?s Kent Holliday, a piano and composition professor in the Music Department.
