University Symphony Band & Campus Band Salute the Career of Dr. Allen Bachelder
Join the University Symphony Band and the University Campus Band in celebrating the career of Dr. Allen Bachelder, professor of trumpet, on April 20, 2006, at 8 p.m. in the Squires Haymarket Theater. Tickets are available at the door and are $3 for students and senior citizens, and $5 for the general public.
Dr. Bachelder retires this spring after many years in music education. The concert will be a celebration of his contribution to the Music Department at Virginia Tech and to the many students he has taught through the years.
The concert will feature Oskar B?hme?s ?Concerto in F Minor?. The University Campus Band is conducted by Will Petersen, while the University Symphony Band is conducted by David McKee. For more information about this concert or Music at Virginia Tech, visit www.music.vt.edu, or call 231-5685.
