Apollo Piano Quintet Wins Award
The Apollo Piano Quintet representing Virginia Tech received Honorable Mention (3rd place) in the Southern Division of the Music Teachers National Association Chamber Music Competition held at Lee University, TN. at the end of January 2006. They qualified for this event by winning the State Division Competition of the MTNA Chamber Music Competition in October 2005. The group performed the Brahms and Shostakovich Piano Quintets.
