Michael Dunston: audio, recording, media production

Michael Dunston has been developing and teaching the music technology curriculum within the Department of Music at Virginia Tech since the 1990s. His courses range from basic introductory concepts and studio technique to media production in a variety of fields to advanced special topics courses to meet the diverse needs of both undergraduate and graduate students in many areas of technology and research. In addition to teaching, his service to the department includes the design and management of the departmental studio and other production facilities, CD, DVD, and internet media production, recording Department of Music performances and session recordings, and the development and maintenance of departmental server systems and websites.
