Brokeback Mountain is being turned into an opera. American composer Charles Wuorinen's second opera will be performed in New York during the 2013 season.
An Inconvenient Truth will be transformed into an opera by Italian composer Giorgio Battistelli and will be performed at La Scala in Milan in 2011
