Be sure to attend the 30th Rebecca Orr Benefit Concert, presented by the Highlands Chapter of the Virginia Music Teachers Association and sponsored by the Department of Music at Virginia Tech. Music Majors will be admitted free with their Convo card, and general students get in for half price, just $4.00. Proceeds go to fund a music scholarship for an area high school student every year, and to cover expenses of the Highlands Chapter's educational projects, including an annual "Technique Festival" held in February to encourage area piano students to work harder! Everyone is invited to a reception following the concert. Tickets will be $8 General, $6 Senior Citizens, and $4 Students. Tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to the concert. | |
