The Symphony Band, conducted by David McKee and Polly Middleton, presents a program of concert band favorites. The Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Travis J. Cross, opens with Midway March, honoring composer John Williams's 80th birthday. Student soloist competition winners Rebecca Johnson and Lee T. Seidner are featured on Il Convegno by nineteenth-century Italian composer Amilcare Ponchielli. The program concludes with David Maslanka's epic Symphony No. 4. Student ensemble concerts are $5 general, $3 senior, and $3 student. Tickets are available at the venue door beginning one hour prior to the performance. | |
