The Great Romantic Masters and Marilyn Norstedt Memorial Concert-- Avanti Ensemble members David Ehrlich, violin, Ben Wyatt, cello and Teresa Ehrlich, piano, are joined by guest artist, Jiri Posledni, violist with the Czech Philharmonic, for the opening concert of the season. Schubert’s Notturno for Piano Trio, Schumann Piano Quartet and Brahms Piano Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 26, are the featured works. Don’t miss this exciting opening concert of the season and the opportunity to hear great chamber music of three master composers. You will be richly rewarded! Musica Viva! is once again proud to feature a memorial concert for the late Marilyn Norstedt (1936-2003), Musica Viva founding secretary.
