Flutists Jessica Bateman and Sara Gholam perform an alumni recital assisted by Andy Miller on piano and Matthew Jennings on percussion. The program will feature works by Abigaña, Muczynski, Copland, Jolivet, Colquhoun and more. Jessica Bateman graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 and Sara Gholam in 2007. They currently reside in northern Virginia and play together in the Carillon Flute Duo, a group that performs a variety of music for weddings and other events. They are looking forward to performing at their alma mater. This concert is free and open to the public. | |
