The Virginia Tech Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Travis J. Cross, features chamber ensembles on its spring concert, including Richard Strauss's Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare and selections from Mozart operas in versions for Harmoniemusik octet with faculty guest soloists Ariana Wyatt, soprano, and Robert Chafin, tenor. The program concludes with William Walton's Crown Imperial. Student ensemble concerts are $5 general, $3 senior, and $3 student. Tickets are available at the venue door beginning one hour prior to the performance. | |
