Pre-Recorded Auditions
The Department of Music at Virginia Tech prefers that you audition in person. In certain cases of real hardship, students may be allowed to submit a pre-recorded audition. You must contact Professor David McKee to obtain permission to do this. Please be sure to request guidelines for preparing the recording, and to submit the "Request for Audition" form at the same time. You may enclose your "Prospective Music Major" form and your essay with your recording when you submit it, or send them first, if you wish. Please contact Professor David McKee of the Scholarship and Auditions Committee to receive permission to submit a pre-recorded audition, either via email or telephone - (540) 231-5685.
